What cannot be limited

Nothing on this page limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. It also does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

What we are responsible for

We are responsible for supplying goods that match their description, are of satisfactory quality and are fit for the purpose they are sold for. If they are not, you have the rights set out in our refunds and returns policy.

Limits that do apply

Except for the things listed above, our liability for any claim connected with goods bought here is limited to the amount you paid for those goods.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for business losses, so far as the law allows. This site is sold to consumers and to businesses, and a business buyer's rights differ from a consumer's.

Using the products safely

Tools and protective equipment have to be used as their manufacturer intends. Read the instructions supplied with the product, follow any standard marked on it, and use the guards, the protective equipment and the working method the job calls for.

Protective equipment in particular is chosen against a hazard. A product listing sets out what the manufacturer states; it is not a risk assessment, and it does not tell you that a particular item is suitable for your work. Where a piece of equipment is used at work, the duties under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the regulations under it sit with the employer.
